Fresh English translation
With their companions, Sia and Raghunandan play in a boat amid Sarayu. Seeing the pleasing splendour of whirlpools, waves, and the river’s streaming current, all sing sweetly in response. The moving waves and jewel-like beauty charm the mind; fish gather in the water. Beholding it, Rasarangmani offers himself in devotion. His eyes, absorbed like boats upon that sight, look nowhere else.
