सावन साहन साहके डुंडुमि से नभ मेघघटा घहराहीं। त्यों बक आदि विहंग उड़े मनु मैन नटा के बटा बहराहीं॥ झूलें ये ललना रघुलाल सुस्यामल गोरलटा छहराहीं। देखि दंग रसरंग कपोलन के सलटा लहराहीं॥ २१ ॥

Fresh English translation

In Savan, cloudbanks crowd the sky like the kettledrums of a sovereign. Cranes and other birds fly out as though they were Love’s performers taking the road. Here the maiden and Raghu’s dark Beloved swing, their fair curls streaming. Rasarang stands astonished to see those locks ripple beside their cheeks.
