Fresh English translation

Dark, dark clouds look lovely in the sky; having rained, they now rain again and again. The earth is green, every vine remains green, and the birds call as though repeatedly chanting an army’s watchword. Graceful, absorbed young women sing lovely melodies and dance in rising delight, encircling the darling Lady and her Beloved. Reveling again and again, Raghubira swings on Sarayu’s bank, says Rasarangmani, gazing and gazing upon Sia’s face.
