Fresh English translation
Rama, sovereign of connoisseurs, rains down waves of colorful delight with his dear Sia, losing himself again and again in rasa. They draw close, bending toward one another; both receive surpassing joy and remain there, forgetting all outward awareness. The companions sing, sway, and dance, displaying expressive gestures; absorbed in their Beloveds, they dance to please them until they forget the measured step. In the lovely monsoon, within sacred Pramodavana, the swing shines and Rasarangmani blossoms with joy.
