Fresh English translation
In the monsoon, dense clouds fill the sky; rain is seen pouring while the heavens thunder and boom. Even by day the sun is invisible and the lotus bows its head; night flees as lightning flashes in every direction. Rama, the abode of rasa, swings with Sia, says Rasarangmani, bending and swaying as the swing resounds. Frightened, the Beloved smiles, clings around his neck, and says: ‘Taste the nectar—slowly, slowly, O delighted connoisseur.’
