Fresh English translation

The clouds thunder; lightning settles among them. Ranks of cranes spread out and peacocks fan their plumes. Rain pours down, a rainbow appears, the rain-birds thirst, and Sita and Rama are steeped in delight. It calls from every quarter and makes entangled hearts blossom; it makes one forget both Sia’s coming and the proud god of desire. Green covers the earth. Rasarangmani sings: the lovely monsoon has arrived, pleasing to the heart’s Beloved.
