अग्निरूपा अन्नपानादिप्राणिनां क्षुत्तृष्णात्मिका देवानां मुखरूपा वनौषधीनां शीतोष्णरूपा काष्ठेष्वन्तर्बहिश्च नित्यानित्यरूपा भवति ॥ १५ ॥

agnirūpā annapānādiprāṇināṃ kṣuttṛṣṇātmikā devānāṃ mukharūpā vanauṣadhīnāṃ śītoṣṇarūpā kāṣṭheṣvantarbahiśca nityānityarūpā bhavati || 15 ||

Fresh English translation

In the form of fire she is hunger and thirst in creatures that live by food and drink, the mouth of the gods, and heat and cold in forest plants and herbs. Within and outside wood she assumes forms both enduring and transient.
