दुर्भक्ष्यान्निन्दकान् वाह्यान् मद्यमांसरतानपि । नास्तिकान् हैतुकान् क्रूरानन्यानपि सन्त्यजेत् ॥ ४९॥

durbhakṣyānnindakān vāhyān madyamāṃsaratānapi | nāstikān haitukān krūrānanyānapi santyajet || 49||
English
One should also exclude those who eat forbidden foods, slanderers, those designated as outsiders, people devoted to alcohol and meat, atheists, rationalist disputants, the cruel, and others of that kind.
