मिथोगुण विरोधेनविरुध्यन्ते गुणग्रहाः । स्वां स्वाङ्गतिं प्रपद्यन्ते मुक्तिस्वर्गतमोभिधाम् ॥ ४४॥

mithoguṇa virodhenavirudhyante guṇagrahāḥ | svāṃ svāṅgatiṃ prapadyante muktisvargatamobhidhām || 44||
English
Because the guṇas oppose one another, those who cling to them enter mutual conflict. Each reaches the destination belonging to that guṇa, called liberation, heaven, or darkness.
