त्रिकाण्डोऽखण्ड रूपार्थो ब्रह्माण्डे शम्मुखालयः । शब्दरूपेण विप्राणामास्येषु निवसत्यसौ ॥ ४४॥

trikāṇḍo'khaṇḍa rūpārtho brahmāṇḍe śammukhālayaḥ | śabdarūpeṇa viprāṇāmāsyeṣu nivasatyasau || 44||
English
It has three sections yet an indivisible form and meaning; within the cosmos its abode is in many sacred mouths. In the form of sound, it dwells in the mouths of learned Brāhmaṇas.
