नैव स्यात्कृत्रिमः स्वामी स्वतः स्वाम्येव यः सहि । दासास्त एव ये हेतुं विनैव प्रकृति स्थिताः ॥ ३६॥

naiva syātkṛtrimaḥ svāmī svataḥ svāmyeva yaḥ sahi | dāsāsta eva ye hetuṃ vinaiva prakṛti sthitāḥ || 36||
English
A master cannot be artificially made; he alone is truly master who is master by his very nature. Likewise, they alone are servants who remain in their servant-nature without any external cause.
