एकोपि गुणिनं दोषो विद्वांसं समुपीडयेत् । सुधां चेन्दुं तिरस्कृत्य रत्नाकरमिवानलः ॥ ५९॥

ekopi guṇinaṃ doṣo vidvāṃsaṃ samupīḍayet | sudhāṃ cenduṃ tiraskṛtya ratnākaramivānalaḥ || 59||

Yet even one fault may deeply afflict a discerning person of virtue, just as fire afflicts the Ocean of Jewels despite the nectar and the moon.
