Chapter 13 · Verse 56

यत्नविधिर्विधेरेव साध्योपायानुशासनम् । व्यर्थं न स्यात्तवाप्येष दोषः स्यादन्यथा बुधे ॥ ५६॥

yatnavidhirvidhereva sādhyopāyānuśāsanam | vyarthaṃ na syāttavāpyeṣa doṣaḥ syādanyathā budhe || 56||

English

‘Yet effort itself also belongs to the divine order, which teaches suitable means toward a goal. Wise woman, your effort need not be fruitless—but otherwise it could become a fault.’
