विधेर्विधानमस्यां वाऽन्यस्यां वा सुप्रतिष्ठितम् । अपहर्तुं विधिर्नान्य इत्युपायो निरर्थकः ॥ ५५॥

vidhervidhānamasyāṃ vā'nyasyāṃ vā supratiṣṭhitam | apahartuṃ vidhirnānya ityupāyo nirarthakaḥ || 55||

‘What the divine ordinance has firmly established in her—or in any other heroine—cannot be removed by some second ordinance. Therefore your proposed remedy is pointless.’
