मत्तुल्योत्तमवंश्या चेन्न यास्यत्यसतीव सा । आत्ममानपरो नान्यां कान्तोपि प्रेषयिष्यति ॥ ३६॥

mattulyottamavaṃśyā cenna yāsyatyasatīva sā | ātmamānaparo nānyāṃ kāntopi preṣayiṣyati || 36||
English
‘If no woman of noble lineage equal to mine will go, then she may remain as she is. The beloved, concerned for his own honor, will not send some unsuitable woman either.’
