नमस्तुभ्यं प्रवीणासि या हत्यायै प्रियामिमाम् । श्रावयसि त्वं भद्राणि मद्भद्राय केवलम् ॥ १२॥

namastubhyaṃ pravīṇāsi yā hatyāyai priyāmimām | śrāvayasi tvaṃ bhadrāṇi madbhadrāya kevalam || 12||

‘My obeisance to your great skill! You nearly destroy this beloved with your counsel, yet make her hear it as though it were wholly auspicious and only for my good.’
