एवं पृष्टासु सर्वासु सखीष्वेका तु योगिनी । प्राह प्रियं प्रियानेह प्रिया ते प्रकृतिं गता ॥ ४०॥

evaṃ pṛṣṭāsu sarvāsu sakhīṣvekā tu yoginī | prāha priyaṃ priyāneha priyā te prakṛtiṃ gatā || 40||
English
When all the sakhīs had been questioned in this way, one yoginī said to the beloved Lord, ‘Your beloved is not here; she has returned into the forest's hidden nature.’
