अद्यैवेषा न तेनापि सम्यक् परिचितेत्यतः । दिदृक्षा पूर्यते नास्य रिरंसापि प्रियस्य च ॥ ८॥

adyaiveṣā na tenāpi samyak paricitetyataḥ | didṛkṣā pūryate nāsya riraṃsāpi priyasya ca || 8||
English
Even now he had not fully fathomed her; therefore neither his longing to behold her nor his desire to sport with his beloved could ever be satisfied.
