चकाङ्क्षे न क्षयं रात्रेश्चन्द्रास्तगमनं न च । नोदयं च रवेः काचित्काश्चिन्नो जगतीलयम् ॥ ३७॥

cakāṅkṣe na kṣayaṃ rātreścandrāstagamanaṃ na ca | nodayaṃ ca raveḥ kācitkāścinno jagatīlayam || 37||
English
No one wished the night to end or the moon to set; one companion wished the sun never to rise, and others would even have preferred the dissolution of the world to the ending of the rāsa.
