Chapter 10 · Verse 42

अस्मिन्नचञ्चला लक्ष्मी रूपसौन्दर्यमोहिता । स्वं नामेदं ददौ मह्यं चञ्चलेतीति चञ्चला ॥ ४२॥

asminnacañcalā lakṣmī rūpasaundaryamohitā | svaṃ nāmedaṃ dadau mahyaṃ cañcaletīti cañcalā || 42||

English

Cañcalā said, ‘Enchanted by the beauty of his form, even the ordinarily fickle Lakṣmī becomes unmoving in him; she therefore gave her own name, Cañcalā, to me.’
