कामोराम मथोवा च स्वामिनं निजकामिनम् । क्षन्तुं यदिकृतान् मन्तून्भया शक्ष्यसि साम्प्रतम् ॥ ४२॥

Kāma replied, ‘Rāma, if you—my Lord and the true object of my own longing—can now forgive the offenses I committed out of fear—’
