सीता भूत्वा परं त्वेतन्नोपासे चापरां स्त्रियम् । इति व्रतं न हास्यामि दास्याएतन्न मामकम् ॥ ४६॥

sītā bhūtvā paraṃ tvetannopāse cāparāṃ striyam | iti vrataṃ na hāsyāmi dāsyāetanna māmakam || 46||
English
‘Having become Sītā, I will never serve another woman as your superior. I shall not abandon this vow; such subordinate service to a co-wife is not mine to accept.’
