Chapter 8 · Verse 38

नारी वेषोभवान्यादृक् तादृशी तव सुन्दरी । अर्हत्यर्द्धासनेस्थातुं नाहं हीनागुणैः शुभैः ॥ ३८॥

IAST

nārī veṣobhavānyādṛk tādṛśī tava sundarī | arhatyarddhāsanesthātuṃ nāhaṃ hīnāguṇaiḥ śubhaiḥ || 38||

English

‘A beautiful woman like the form you assumed deserves to sit upon half your throne. I do not, for I am deficient in such auspicious qualities.’
