न त्वां हातुं मनाग्बुद्धया कीर्तिरात्मवता यथा । अनन्या त्वं मया सीते चन्द्रेणेव च चन्द्रिका ॥ २५॥

na tvāṃ hātuṃ manāgbuddhayā kīrtirātmavatā yathā | ananyā tvaṃ mayā sīte candreṇeva ca candrikā || 25||
English
‘I could never form even the slightest intention to abandon you, just as a person of honor cannot abandon good repute. Sītā, you are inseparable from me as moonlight is from the moon.’
