Chapter 8 · Verse 10

रम्भागर्भसमं चेतो योषायाः प्रियजोषणात् । तुल्यं खादिरगर्भेण पुंसश्चित्तमपेक्षितम् ॥ १०॥

rambhāgarbhasamaṃ ceto yoṣāyāḥ priyajoṣaṇāt | tulyaṃ khādiragarbheṇa puṃsaścittamapekṣitam || 10||

English

‘A woman’s heart, through loving devotion to her beloved, is tender like the inner pith of a plantain; a man’s heart is expected to resemble the hard core of khadira wood.’
