पश्यन्तीमृग बालेवशपन्ती विपरीतवत् । किं चित्कालं प्रियेणासावन्वभूयति भूरिदा ॥ ६४॥

paśyantīmṛga bālevaśapantī viparītavat | kiṃ citkālaṃ priyeṇāsāvanvabhūyati bhūridā || 64||
English
Like a startled young doe she looked at him and spoke reproaches whose surface meant the opposite of her love. For a short time the generous beloved allowed her lover to experience this mood.
