ततः सखीसमाजेषु मधुरान्मधुरं मृदु । प्रावर्तत च सङ्गीतं ताभ्यामपि च सुश्रुतम् ॥ ४८॥

tataḥ sakhīsamājeṣu madhurānmadhuraṃ mṛdu | prāvartata ca saṅgītaṃ tābhyāmapi ca suśrutam || 48||
English
Then among the assemblies of sakhīs, music sweeter than sweetness and exquisitely gentle began, and the two within the bower heard it clearly.
