Chapter 5 · Verse 61

हिमाद्रिमृगपक्ष्मादिकृतास्तरणचित्रिता । क्वचित्क्वचित्प्रदेशे सा सीताहेतोरिति श्रुते ॥ ६१॥

himādrimṛgapakṣmādikṛtāstaraṇacitritā | kvacitkvacitpradeśe sā sītāhetoriti śrute || 61||

English

Here and there its grounds are beautifully spread with coverings made from the fine hair of Himalayan animals and other materials, all arranged for Sītā’s sake—so the tradition declares.
