Chapter 5 · Verse 23

वहिश्वर इव प्राणः पितुस्त्वं सुखभुक् सदा । न निषिध्येद्वने क्रीडां यूनां यद्विकृतिं विदन् ॥ २३॥

vahiśvara iva prāṇaḥ pitustvaṃ sukhabhuk sadā | na niṣidhyedvane krīḍāṃ yūnāṃ yadvikṛtiṃ vidan || 23||

English

You are like your father’s very life moving outside him, and he always wishes you happiness. Knowing the impulses of youth, he would not forbid your play in the forest.
