शृङ्गारे च निदानानि मध्योत्तरविभावुकाः । नारीमात्रप्रियाः पुंसां दृष्टिचित्तापहारिणः ॥ १५॥

śṛṅgāre ca nidānāni madhyottaravibhāvukāḥ | nārīmātrapriyāḥ puṃsāṃ dṛṣṭicittāpahāriṇaḥ || 15||
English
They are the foundations of śṛṅgāra and its middling and highest aesthetic determinants; dear to every woman, they carry away the eyes and hearts even of men.
