मात्रा पृष्टः परं भाव्यं तस्या अन्ते पपाठ सः । अग्राहितधनुर्वाणो लुलुण्ठ च महीतले ॥ ५॥

mātrā pṛṣṭaḥ paraṃ bhāvyaṃ tasyā ante papāṭha saḥ | agrāhitadhanurvāṇo luluṇṭha ca mahītale || 5||

Asked by his mother, he recited the lesson she set him through to its end; but when she did not give him his bow and arrows, he rolled upon the floor.
