शिवोवाच
कुम्भयोनिर्मुनी रामरहस्यं मरुतः सुते । प्रेम्णा शृण्वति तत्प्रीत्या प्रोवाच परमोत्तमम् ॥ १॥

kumbhayonirmunī rāmarahasyaṃ marutaḥ sute | premṇā śṛṇvati tatprītyā provāca paramottamam || 1||

Śiva said: As the Son of the Wind listened lovingly to the mystery of Rāma, the pot-born sage, delighted by his love, spoke this supremely excellent account.
