अंशत्वं चावतारत्वं विष्णोरस्य प्रसिद्धति । स्वयत्वं कथमस्य स्यादिति मे संशयों हृदि ॥ ३९॥

aṃśatvaṃ cāvatāratvaṃ viṣṇorasya prasiddhati | svayatvaṃ kathamasya syāditi me saṃśayoṃ hṛdi || 39||

He is widely said to be a portion and an avatāra of Viṣṇu; how then can he be the Lord himself? This is the doubt in my heart.
