सौमित्रिरुवाच लब्ध्वाहूय ततो देवान् ब्रह्मविष्णुमहेश्वरान् । कथयामास देवेशो मूलमन्त्रं षडक्षरम् ॥ १६८ ॥
Saumitri said: Having received it, the Lord of gods then summoned Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Maheśvara and taught them the six-syllabled root mantra.
