महामायोवाच कदाचित्सूयते विश्वं येन वा त्रायते भयात् । इति सूत्रपदं प्रोक्तं ब्रह्मलिङ्गनिदर्शनम् ॥ १४० ॥
Mahāmāyā said: That by which the universe is brought forth, and by which it is protected from fear, is called by the word sūtra—a sign that points toward Brahman.
