तमसा च महारुद्रः सर्वसंहारकारकः । एक एव त्रिधा भिन्नः सृष्टिस्थितिलयात्मकः ॥ ११७ ॥
Through tamas comes Mahārudra, the agent of universal dissolution. The One alone appears divided threefold as creation, preservation, and dissolution.
