रजसा वर्धते ब्रह्मा सोमस्तस्य कलोद्भवः । सत्त्वेनैव सदा विष्णुर्वह्निर्वह्नौ प्रतिष्ठितः ॥ ११६ ॥
Through rajas Brahmā increases creation, and the moon arises from his portion. Through sattva Viṣṇu abides perpetually, as the divine fire is present within fire.
