विश्वस्य पुरतो वृत्तिः शिवस्य पुरतो बहिः । एतस्माद्बहिरावृत्तिः सप्तावरणसंज्ञकम् ॥ २८ ॥
The circuit of the universe extends before it, while beyond Śiva lies the outer region. Outside this is the enclosure known as the seven coverings.
