Fresh English translation

[The Kāliṅgaḍā adornment-song continues:] ‘—the instruments resound and the companions sing.’ (1) ‘They wipe one another's wet locks, gaze upon each other's beauty, and smile sweetly. Kṛpānivāsa says: rasika Śrī Rāma and Sīyā look on, their eyes slightly languid.’ Rāga Paraja, mūla tāla: ‘At mealtime Sīyā and her beloved take delight.
