Fresh English translation
[The water-play continues:] ‘—Bihārījū. Playing in rasa, they cool their weariness and reveal mutual erotic delight. Absorbed in the Sarayū, the couple appears like a pair of swans, Love's own Bihārījū. Kṛpānivāsa says: brought into an embrace, they taste the rasa of love.’ ‘The limpid water is covered with blossoming lotuses; it becomes a lovely bed of love's pleasure. Upon it the beloved plays with the rasika, displaying every art of Love. (1) Again and again they sport; sprays of water mingle collyrium, ornaments, and every adornment. Kṛpānivāsa says: the rasa-play of Jānakī's beloved delights the heart.’ Thus ends water-play. Now adornment, Rāga Kāliṅgaḍā: ‘Beloved, after sporting in the water they came ashore.
