हित नित रस बरषावै ॥५॥ अथ वन क्रीडा ॥ राग केदारा ॥ खेलत प्रमोद वनगोरी सिया स्याम घना । कुंजनि कुंजनि दुरत परस्पर देख परस तरसनि पायें कर हसत हसावन गावत धावत कवाले सुघरमन ॥ कृपा निवास बिलास बिहारी प्राणबसो प्यारी राम रसिक धन ॥ ॥ राग अडाणा मूल ताल ॥ भलाजु कुँवर तुम भये नये छेल ॥ चोर प्रगट प्यारे बसत सोमवट रोकत पनघट गेल ॥१॥ लूटत जोबन नवजुवतिनको जान परे अबरावरे । कृपा निवासी भई भेट ललीसों सुफल फरी नई सेन ॥ इति श्रीवन लीला संपूर्ण ॥ अथ जलक्रीडा राग अनुरास रसिक सिया प्यारीजू क्रीडत सलिल
Fresh English translation
[The swing-song concludes:] ‘—ever showers rasa for love's sake.’ (5) Now forest-play, Rāga Kedāra: ‘In the pleasure-grove fair Sīyā and dark Śyāma play. From bower to bower they hide from each other, seeing, touching, yearning, finding one another; they laugh and make each other laugh, sing and run, their graceful minds absorbed. Kṛpānivāsa says: Bihārī delights; the beloved rules his life, the treasure of Rāma the rasika.’ Rāga Aḍāṇā, mūla tāla: ‘Well indeed, prince—you have become a new gallant! A thief openly dwelling at Somavaṭa, you block the path to the waterside.’ (1) ‘You plunder the youth of young women; now your way is known. Kṛpānivāsa says: when he met the girl, the fresh signal bore its perfect fruit.’ Thus the forest-play is complete. Now water-play: ‘Beloved Sīyā, connoisseur of rasa, plays in the water—’ [the song continues on the next page].
