वेला । सूरतिप्यासी आंखडियां नूँदीजे दरसने मेला हसणा बोलणा अंतर खोलणामेहर करोंमैं वारी । कृपानिवास लगे सिया दावनतू जनुसरम हमारी ॥३०॥ अडाना ॥ माननहि कीजे सुजान प्रानप्यारी । वचन सुधारस सजीवनि मेरी येरी मुखचंद उघारी ॥१॥ हगनि चितवनि की बानि बिसरिहो परखो क्यौं न निहारी । मधुमुसकनि बिन अधरउदासी मेरे नैन अहारी ॥२॥ जो तव उरकी रचना सुंदर सों कहा जानै अनारी । कृपानिवास उपासी मैंतुव नाहिरोष अधिकारी ॥३॥ बलि बलिजाऊँ वारीप्रिया तेरी । मेरोमन तेरोतेरो येरी कहा होत कहेरी ॥१॥ तुमसों हम हमसों तुमप्यारी कोई जनजानि लरारी । कृपानिवास हँसी सियनागरि जब पियें सीसनरारी ॥२॥ इति गुरुमान ॥
Fresh English translation
[The Soraṭha song continues:] ‘—this is not the time. Give these form-thirsting eyes a meeting with your sight: laughter, speech, the opening of the heart. Show favor; I offer myself. Kṛpānivāsa clings to Sīyā's feet—regard the honor of your servant.’ (30) Aḍānā: ‘Do not maintain māna, discerning beloved of my life. Your words are nectar and the life-restoring medicine that is mine; unveil your moon-face.’ (1) ‘Have you forgotten the language of a glance? Why not test it by looking? Without your honeyed smile, my lips are desolate and my eyes without sustenance.’ (2) ‘What fool could understand the lovely design within your heart? Kṛpānivāsa worships you; I have no right to anger.’ (3) ‘Again and again I offer myself to you, beloved. My heart is yours, wholly yours—what remains mine?’ (1) ‘I belong to you and you to me, beloved; let no person knowingly provoke a quarrel. Kṛpānivāsa says: Sīyā the clever lady smiled when her beloved bowed his head.’ (2) Thus ends guru-māna.
