उतनी न सही जात हमें सतहै तुम्हारी ॥७॥ लगीहै डोरिगल सों मिल रामरस बिहारी । कृपा- निवास अली दोउ बदन देखिवारी ॥ मूल ताल ॥ प्यारी भलै आइयो राम सुजान ॥ चंद बदन सों रूप सुधारस झरत करो दृगपान । सुफल मनोरथ मिल सुख कीजिये चक चकई लखि भान ॥ कृपानिवास रास रसिया दोउसदाई बसों मेरे प्रान । अथ श्री लाडली जीको टोना ॥ राग अडाई मूल ताल ॥ टंट परोना कीन्होरी चित हरलीन्हो मनहृदय छीनो ॥ प्यारो तेरे रंगभीनोरी ॥ प्रानवसी सरत सुनागरि खान पान तजि दीन्होरी । बिष

Fresh English translation

[The Pasto Rekhta continues:] ‘—that much torment from you can no longer be endured by me; I swear it. (7) The cord has fastened around my neck: come, Rāma, enjoyer of the rasa of delight. Kṛpānivāsa, the bee, longs to behold both faces.’ Mūlatāla: ‘Beloved, welcome—wise Rāma has come. Nectar of beauty streams from the moon-like face; drink it with your eyes. Let the heart's desire bear fruit in the joy of union, like the cakravāka pair beholding the sun. Kṛpānivāsa says: O two enjoyers of rāsa, dwell forever within my life-breath.’ Then Śrī Lāḍalī-jī's spell. Rāga Aḍāī, mūlatāla: ‘She threaded and cast her spell, stole consciousness, and plundered mind and heart. Beloved, I am dyed in your color. My life is captive; remembering you, clever one, I have abandoned food and drink. Poison—’ [the spell-song continues on the next page].
