[The arrival song continues:] With an elephant's stately gait and a swaying, captivating walk—refrain. All around, fresh companies of companions come singing, wholly absorbed in rasa. Kṛpānivāsa beholds them; his gaze, caught fast, cannot turn away from the intoxication of that beauty. (5) Seating. Rāma, colored in rasa, shines with beloved Sītā within the rāsa pavilion. Beautifully adorned, these crest-jewels of form shine and enchant tens of millions of Loves and Ratis. It is as though this autumn night, drenched in moonlight, gazes upon the beauty of the paired moons. Kṛpānivāsa's mind is absorbed in their play—what poet is skilled enough to tell it? (6) Rāga Yaman, four-beat tāla. (1) Today Rāma sits with Janaka's daughter in the middle of the rāsa pavilion, upon a lotus throne on the lotus-like sands of the Sarayū, at Candravaṭa-dhāma.
