Parvati's Final Word: Firm Rama-Bhakti and the End of All Sorrow

The final voice of the Ramcharitmanas belongs to Parvati, the Divine Mother and the listener beside Shiva. The immense story has passed before her: the child of Ayodhya, the forest exile, the search, the ocean crossing, Lanka's fall, the return, the kingdom, and the wisdom of the closing dialogues.

Now the images become still. Parvati looks toward Vishvesha and declares herself fulfilled by his grace. The doubts that once asked for narration have completed their purpose. In their place stands firm devotion to Rama, no longer a passing tenderness but an unshakable presence.

All affliction has ended. The final verse does not close a book so much as reveal what the whole sacred journey was meant to create within the hearer. Every palace, wilderness, battlefield, hermitage, and cosmic vision has become an inward path toward this one flowering. The Divine Mother speaks for every soul that has listened with her: Rama-bhakti has arisen, sorrow has crossed its horizon, and life has become fulfilled.

The last sound of the Manas is a listener's heart made firm in Rama, while every sorrow falls silent.
