Wherever Bhushundi Remembers Rama, Ignorance Cannot Enter for a Yojana

Lomasa's blessing continues. Bhushundi will remain dear to Rama, a dwelling of auspicious qualities and free from pride. He may assume forms at will, choose the time of death, and become a treasury of knowledge and detachment.
Wherever he establishes an ashrama and remembers the blessed Lord, ignorance will not spread within a whole yojana. Devotion will alter the atmosphere around his dwelling.
Garuda has already experienced this promise. The moment he entered the blue mountain, confusion began to disappear. The lake, trees, birds, and banyan assembly stand inside the radius of remembrance created by a crow who has sung Rama through twenty-seven cosmic ages. Lomasa's words do not grant private attainment alone. They make Bhushundi's realization hospitable, a sanctuary in which other beings can breathe air untouched by avidya.
Bhushundi remembers Rama beneath one tree, and for a yojana around him the night of ignorance cannot cross the boundary.

-सदा राम प्रिय होहु तुम्ह सुभ गुन भवन अमान। कामरूप इच्धामरन ग्यान बिराग निधान।।113(क)।। जेंहिं आश्रम तुम्ह बसब पुनि सुमिरत श्रीभगवंत। ब्यापिहि तहँ न अबिद्या जोजन एक प्रजंत।।113(ख)।।
May you always remain dear to Rama, a dwelling of auspicious virtues, free from pride. You shall possess the power to assume any form at will; you shall be a treasure-house of wisdom and dispassion. Wherever you establish your hermitage and remember the blessed Lord, ignorance shall not spread there even within a radius of one yojana.
