Rama holds the strength of a hundred crore wind gods and the radiance of a hundred crore suns. No single current or star can suggest the force and light gathered within him.

Yet the blaze does not scorch the devotee. He is soothing as a hundred crore moons, and his coolness removes every fear born of samsara. Power and tenderness occupy the same immeasurable presence.

Before obstruction he is formidable as a hundred crore powers of Time, an inaccessible and endless fortress. Before assault he is invincible like a sky filled with a hundred crore comets. Bhushundi's numbers pass beyond visualization until quantity becomes an instrument of surrender. Wind, sun, moon, Time, fortress, and comet each illuminate one direction, then fall away. Rama remains the unity in which terrible protection and tender consolation are not opposed.

Countless suns cannot exhaust Rama's brilliance, and countless moons cannot exhaust the cool refuge within that light.

Read the passage from the Manas

He has the mighty strength of a hundred crore Vayus, the radiance of a hundred crore Suryas. He is cool and soothing like a hundred crore Chandras, destroying all the fears of worldly existence. He is formidable like a hundred crore Kalas, an insurmountable fortress, infinite and endless. The Bhagavan is invincible, like a hundred crore comets.
