Rama Offers Bhushundi Every Power, Every Treasure, and Liberation

Rama hears Bhushundi's loving words and looks upon his humble servant. When he speaks, the voice is at once gentle, deep, and filled with happiness, like a vast current moving beneath the softness of childhood speech.
Ask for a boon, Kakbhushundi. Know that I am greatly pleased. The Lord opens every treasury before the crow: the subtle powers beginning with anima, supernatural abundance, and moksha itself, source of the happiness for which seekers labor through lifetimes.
Nothing is withheld. The little figure in the courtyard offers command over the subtle orders of creation and freedom beyond creation. Bhushundi stands before the full generosity of the Lord, yet the moment is also a test of discernment. When every attainable splendor is placed within reach, the heart must reveal what it truly considers supreme.
The child who held countless universes within his mouth now opens every treasure and asks one crow to choose.

सुनि सप्रेम मम बानी देखि दीन निज दास। बचन सुखद गंभीर मृदु बोले रमानिवास।।83(क)।। काकभसुंडि मागु बर अति प्रसन्न मोहि जानि। अनिमादिक सिधि अपर रिधि मोच्छ सकल सुख खानि।।83(ख)।।
Hearing my loving words and seeing His humble servant, Ramanivasa (the abode of Rama, Lord of Lakshmi) spoke words sweet, profound, and gentle. 'Kakbhushundi, ask for a boon. Know Me to be greatly pleased. Animadi siddhis (psychic powers beginning with anima), abundant riddhis (supernatural wealth), moksha (liberation), the very source of all happiness, I offer them all.'
