Garuda's words carry humility and love. As Bhushundi hears them, every feather upon the crow-sage's body rises. Tears gather in his eyes, and joy moves through his heart too deeply to remain hidden.
Shiva tells Uma what makes such a moment possible. When saints encounter a listener of clear understanding, noble conduct, and purity, one who delights in the rasa of sacred story and serves Hari, they reveal even mysteries ordinarily kept concealed.
The worthy listener does not extract secrets through cleverness. Love, character, receptivity, and service make a vessel in which guarded truth can be placed without harm. Garuda arrived with power, rank, and knowledge, but Bhushundi's tears answer the humility with which he now listens. The next teaching opens not because the question is intellectually impressive, but because the relationship beneath the banyan has ripened into trust.
Before the hidden truth is spoken, it appears as tears in the teacher's eyes and the lifting of dark feathers.

Hearing the words of Garuda, full of humility and love, the crow's body thrilled with joy, his eyes filled with tears, his heart overflowed with delight. O Uma, when saints find a listener of noble mind, good conduct, and pure heart, one who delights in sacred katha and serves Lord Hari, they reveal even the most hidden truths.
