Rama Reveals the Hidden Gate of Devotion through Shiva

Rama joins his hands before the assembly and announces one more hidden teaching. The gesture itself prepares the listeners for a truth that must not become a cause of rivalry.
Without worship of Shankara, he says, no human being attains devotion to me. Rama places Shiva-bhajana within the very opening of Rama-bhakti.
The declaration dissolves the wall an argumentative mind might build between the Lords of Kailasa and Ayodhya. Love of one does not require neglect of the other. Shiva opens the heart toward Rama, and Rama publicly honors that sacred mediation. The secret teaching is hidden not because it belongs to a few, but because sectarian sight can miss the unity that devotion already knows.
Rama folds his hands and reveals that the door to his own devotion bears the blessing of Shankara.

औरउ एक गुपुत मत सबहि कहउँ कर जोरि। संकर भजन बिना नर भगति न पावइ मोरि।।45।।
And one more secret teaching I share with all, hands folded: Without the worship of Shankara, no one attains bhakti to me. Shiva opens the door to Rama. The Lord of Kailasa unlocks devotion to the Lord of Ayodhya.
